Principals' Message

Welcome!

I am Mr. Ricardo Gonzalez and now serve as your school principal. I have been part of the Avance family for over 10 years, serving as a tutor, teacher, coach, athletic director, instructional coach and now, my current position. As the previous administration team has built, we are committed to teaching the whole child by narrowing the achievement, opportunity and technology gaps, and building character within a restorative justice paradigm. Culture and engagement are the key points for our current team as we work to build a school community that is inclusive and prioritizes student success and development above all else. 

Our school community, including administration, staff, faculty, parents and students will continue to collaborate to ensure we serve our students in an ever changing climate. I am excited for the opportunity and looking forward to bringing positive change and growth to our school. Vamos Guerreros!
