I hope you and your families are doing well.   Academia Avance will be closed again on Friday, January 10, 2025. The continued poor and unsafe air quality caused by the fire, winds, and smoke has once again required us to keep school closed.  Classes will resume on Monday, January 13, 2025.  We will have staff come in this weekend to clear the ashes and damage caused by the winds and fire

The continued low air quality caused by the fire, winds, and smoke have created unsafe conditions for our school. As a result the school will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025.

Students are to check their Google Classroom for assignments their teachers have provided.  In addition, students are to check in with their HOUSE teacher to verify they are clear on the assignments their teachers posted on Google Classroom.

We will be assessing the situation throughout the day tomorrow and provide updates on this website and social media regarding Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. 

Please be safe and remain indoors during this time.  We know this is an inconvenience but everyone’s health and safety is important.  Thank you for understanding.

Please be advised that school will be closed today, Wednesday, January 8, 2025, due to a widespread power outage affecting the area. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities.

Classes are scheduled to resume on Thursday, January 9, 2025, unless otherwise notified.
